Stuff Happens Program
When you registering online, you will see a box in our entry form that will say "Stuff Happens", Check that box and $5 will be added to your final fee. If for any reason you cannot cross the start line your entry fees can be applied to a future Mellew Productions 5k event Make sure you read the programs rules [read more].

Be a Course Zombie

More interested in showing off your mad zombie skills than running from it? Then come join our Zombie Horde! Stumble, slowly chase, or crawl after runners and motivate them to finish before the 30 minute mark or risk getting "infected" and becoming a zombie. Our Zombie Horde will receive an event t-shirt as well as a Zombie medal and glow sticks. You must arrive 2 hours before the race starts and check-in at the Zombie Check-In Booth. There will be no Electric Zombie Run in 2015. We do plan to return perhaps in February of 2016

Race Rules

Rule #1 All participants are welcome… fast, slow, runner, walker, old, and young.

Rule #2 There is no contact on the course between runners and zombies.

Rule #3 If you finish before 30 minutes, you are a "Survivor," if you finish after 30 minutes, you are "Zombified."

We will be hosting a killer post-race party. Food, drinks, libations, music, free stuff, a costume and a brain eating contest is what you have to look forward to!

Costume Contest

Come dressed up in your wildest most creative costume for our costume contest! The winner will get a special award and their picture posted on our website!

Brain Eating Contest

Yes. This IS happening. :) We will have brain-molded cake or jello for contestants to sink their apocalyptic teeth into. The first one to finish wins. You can sign up race day near the event stage. A waiver is required. Entry is free for registrants and $10 for spectators.

Run with a Group!

How does a “4+ Person Team” work compared with a solo runner?
Pretty simple, you run as a (4+ person) unit rather than as an individual. You then get to run/walk together, and “help” each other survive the course!

Is there a “Relay” component to running as a team?
Nope. You just register together and run. Some teams stay together for the entire run and some separate as they cover the course. Both options are fine with us.

Can we make our own shirts that we wear for the run custom with a team name on them?
Of course! Be as creative as you like!
